Why can’t I just keep the device?
The device that Power Hungry Performance uses to transfer their amazing FICM tuning from their computer to your truck’s FICM is just a pass-through device. It doesn’t need to stay plugged in. It doesn’t do gauges. These devices were made for Power Hungry Performance years ago by Edge Products, they discontinued the device so we simply can’t get them anymore! There’s absolutely no reason for you to keep the device, I run FICM tuning on all 3 of my 6.0L’s and I don’t have the device sitting in any of my trucks.

What Do We Recommend?
The 80 horse setting is my favorite. It’s a huge increase in throttle response, I picked up 3 miles per gallon with some serious road testing and data logging before and after I loaded the tune on the truck. I hand calculated my mileage driving from Chicago to Monroe GA before the tune, on a bone stock truck lifted on 37″ tires, I was getting 10.3 MPG running down the road at 80mph.
After I loaded the FICM Tune, I reset the trip meter to zero and drove to and from Kentucky to speak at a diesel conference. When I pulled into the local gas station by my house, I topped it off with diesel fuel and did the math. 13.8 miles per gallon! I was thrilled. There are more upgrades to come, and I will be doing the same before-and-after test with each upgrade we do on this truck.
The Atlas 40 and the 80 horse FICM tune are both perfectly safe for factory head bolts, I don’t have head studs on my personal 6.0L I run the 80 horse tune and beat on that truck like it owes me money.
