Sinister Diesel STC HPOP Fitting Kit (SDHPOPFK04) for 2004-2007 Powerstroke 6.0L

The Sinister Diesel 6.0 Powerstroke STC HPOP Fitting Update Kit was the redesign of the high-pressure oil pump for the 2005 and newer Powerstroke Diesel Engines. The “Snap-To-Connect” or STC Fitting used to connect the high-pressure oil pump to the oil supply branch tube has been problematic. The two-piece fittings have a tendency to flex causing wear on the seal and the locking ring resulting in leaks and occasionally the complete separation of the fitting. When a leak occurs at this fitting, the engine may be difficult to start or may not start at all. Depending on the severity of the leak the engine may stall, sometimes abruptly and without warning, creating a dangerous situation for the driver and other motorist. This kit solves the problem by including a bracket designed to support the fitting and branch tube and preventing any movement of the branch tube and eliminating the possibility of the fitting to become separated.
