Sinister Diesel’s valve cover gaskets are constructed of premium synthetic rubber compounds such as high temperature silicone and hi-tech Fluoroelastomer (FKM) materials. The vast majority of the gaskets and component parts are manufactured in the USA. Comparing our product with the many off-shore offerings, it becomes clear that their product is made using inferior rubber compounds consisting of low-cost fillers which result in inconsistent sealing and poor high temperature resistance.
During injector replacement, the valve cover must be removed on most applications. This is a perfect time to replace the valve cover gasket to ensure a professional, leak-free repair.
The Sinister Diesel gasket kits include necessary additional items to ensure the job can be completed right the first time. This includes bolt isolators, ancillary o-rings, other seals and silicone where required.
